Membership Options

There are four different memberships available at BEC. We have ensured that no matter what type of horse enthusiast you are, there is a membership to suit you. Please check out the following to see what matches your requirements.

Full Membership: Full members pay for their membership to the club and their membership to the HRCAV to cover them for insurance and membership as to compete and be available to participate in rallies.

Associate Membership: Associates are members of BEC as their 'second' club meaning they have already become a member of the HRCAV with a seperate club and therefore are joining and paying only the club membership. This membership is also appropriate for Equestrian Australia members are BEC is an EV affiliated club.

Casual Membership: Casual or Pay As You Go members can pay the HRCAV membership if applicable, or are joining Bunyip as their 'second' club. Due to the expectation that these members will not be attending more than 2 rallies per year, sometimes 3, these members pay per rally they attend rather than paying for a club membership up front.

Friend of BEC: These members pay their HRCAV levies and then a small club fee to be 'non-riding' members. Unlike the riding cap, these memberships have no limit and we can accept them at any time.

Membership Costs

Below is a breakdown of all costs involved in joining BEC.

Full Membership: $140

Associate/EA Membership: $50

Casual Membership: $20 per rally on top of usual HRCAV and rally fees

Friend of BEC: $75

One Off Joining Fee: $20

Key Lease: $20

Average Rally Cost: $20-$30 per rider
